Previously, we recommended joining KakaoTalk groups to chat and share knowledge about clinics/treatments with fellow foreigners. However, we realized that these groups are also flooded with Korean promoters and their shady practices (e.g. misinformation, paid reviews, etc) and it gets confusing to follow which one is a promoter and which is not… So together with many authentic members of the community, we decided to come up with a modern solution.

When you’re doing research about treatments in Korea, it’s important to talk to other foreigners who have gone through this experience or are going through it now. These are the Kakao groups you should join to get more information.

We recommend using the Naver Map in South Korea. It is the Google Map of Korea.

A transportation card is necessary for convenient public transportation use in South Korea. Purchasing a Prepaid T-money card is recommended.

A prepaid SIM card provides a stable internet connection. Purchase your SIM card from wireless service stores at the airport when you arrive.
